23re November 2025, Real Madrid – Eibar. Pau Quesada’s girls scored three goals and brought home three points.
But I’m not here to write a match report. For this match, I had the privilege of being a photographer on the pitch. It was my second time working on the sidelines with a camera. The first time, I had no knowledge whatsoever, but this time I knew a little bit more. What helped me a lot was the class we had last week with professional photographer Paul Hanna, who explained how to properly set up the camera to capture players in motion, etc.
Emotionally speaking, this match felt quite different from the others. As a girl who’s really passionate about sports, it was so exciting to attend a women’s game and see firsthand how competitive they are, noticing the differences with men’s football.
But the moment that touched me the most happened right before kick-off. All the players, from both teams, stood together behind a banner against male violence towards women.
The match itself was pretty entertaining, with three goals scored by Real Madrid and a couple of scary moments.
I really enjoyed the whole experience, and I can’t wait to attend the next game.
